PMs disappeared from inbox...

I have 2 new co-owners on my board, and when I moved them up to the Administrator usergroup today, all the PMs in their inboxes disappeared. Do you have any idea why this happened, and what I can do to get them back?

What did you do exactly and have you installed any add-ons? I can't see any way for this to happen with the default vB code.
