Check for orphaned attachments

Is there any way I can manually check the attachments hosted on my site and remove any orphaned attachments. I understand there is a cron job that runs and removes orphaned attachments but I believe that there are still orphaned attachemtns being stored on my site that are not attached to any threads.

There's not really any way to do this manually.
