How to remove profile in post for specific user?

We'd like to not display ANY profile info for a single user that we will use to create new threads with. The reason for which we'd like to do this is to make the threads more like an article with the first post of the thread (by the designated user) appear as an article, and then other members can comment on that first post.

Is there any way to accomplish this?

You can use a conditional for this.

<if condition="$post['userid'] != XXX">profile stuff here</if>

Replace XXX with the userid in question.
