Serious slowdown... please take a look

Please take a look in my forum: http://www.demolishman.com/forum

It is "seriously slow"... I can't even post, it stays one to two minutes "loading" a page, each time I click on something... It is so "drastic slow" that I am even considering moving back to phpbb... and I hate phpbb, wish I could stay with vbulletin... =P

Any idea to make it smooth as it was last month? Things loaded in less than 3 seconds... it started to get really heavy in AUGUST 1 2007.

    Things I already did:

1- I turned every single option I could, to boost performance. Nothing changed in the slow down.
2- I rebulded every post, every table, to see if would boost... Nothing changed.
3- I deleted my IE cache... Same thing.
4- Tested on another computer at home, with another internet conection - same thing.
5- Some friends are having the same issues, others stated they see no slow down...
6- Contacted my server, they looked everywhere and told me everything should be working fine...
7- Turned off the forum, and tried to acess only myself (admin can acess). Slow as hell.

    Now what?
Is there anything I can do to fix?
If there isn't, is it possible to get a refund? Its been a year since I paid for my subiscription..

I dont want to get dedicated hosting because a month ago my forum was running smooth as hell. The visitors are lower than last month (half of them left because of slow down), so... there is no explanation for this slow down.

    Please help!

I think the reason is the huge logo in the top of your board: (87430 bites size with 733 x 237 px ). Try a smaller size pix ..

Seems to be working fine from the West Coast of the USA.

Loads quickly here, but I am not registered and did not attempt to post. Have you tried dumping your cookie and then logging in again?

Also you are running version 3.6.4 and you should consider upgrading to more secure version, although it might be a problem for your Style.

      Regards,

        Thanks for the reply,

Cant be the logo, it was loading very smooth two months ago.

The cookies are gone, and nothing changed.

Just tested with the old (default) style and its slow too =(

FORUMHOME loads here in less than 2 seconds.

Took a quick look at the calendar, same result, less than 2 seconds.

Looked at a couple of Forums, Mythos and Diablo 3. Both loaded in less than 2 seconds. All of it loaded almost "instantly."

Don't know what the problem might be on your end.

          Regards,
          Slappy

It's loading fine for me as well but again, I'm not registered either. Does your problem go away when you log out? It could be that you have a plugin that is running only when someone is logged in. Also, when things are running slowly check out the load averages in your admincp. If you're on a shared server then it could be someone else using too much of the server's resources.

              edit:

Wth... I logged off and its super fast! lol

I have no plugins, is there something I should turn off?

Edit: The only plugin I have is the [ yt ] You Tube videos thing.

              Thanks for checking it out!

I just checked with FireBug and I got 40 requests with a [Ctrl]+[F5] for the front of your forum with a total of 195KB over 6.63s. You might try checking it yourself, once logged out and once logged in to see if there is a difference between the two and if so, on what file(s).

You could also try enabling debug mode in your config.php and then checking the footer for the load time and number of queries on each page load. Again, try logged in and logged out to see if there is a difference.

Thank you everyone for the help.

The problem is finally fixed! The reason:

                  It was the TITANUX TEMPLATE!

As soon as I removed AND rebuilded my forum cache, the forum became super fast.

Just removing it, wont solve, you must rebuild the default counters.
