I need help with the banner

I have a custom banner .gif and I don't know where to upload it to.

1- do I have to upload it to misc folder?
2- How do I display it under nav bar?

please help me with step by step, I am very new to all of these

You can upload it wherever you like. You'll simply need to point the code to the correct location.

To add it under your navbar, add the code to the end of the navbar template.

I need help with the code and how do I point it to right location? Right now, I already uploaded the .gif to mics\photo\images. Please help me with the code and how to add link for the banner to point it to sponsor site

Go to

AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Edit Templates > Navigation / Breadcrumb Templates > navbar > Customize (or edit)

Go right to the end of the template code then add the following

<div align="center">
<img src="the url to your image" alt="a label for your image" border="0" />
</div>

Change the bits in red as indicated

Save the template and refresh your forum page.
