Various issues?

This is almost certainly a browser issue rather than a vB one (3.6.8) but thought i'd post it here to see if anyone has any ideas what could be causing it.

One of our members is having the following issues:

-There is no "Reply" or "Start New Thread" button.
-When I click on "Quick Links" the headings at the top of the forum section change.
-There is no longer a drop-down menu.
-Additionally, there is only the quick reply window to accomplish postings.

It works fine on his Linux box but not on his XP machine. (using Firefox 2.0.0.6 on both OSes)

I'd have to call foul on his XP machine, an over-zealous firewall or AV programing doing more than it should.

Fixed. It was a Firefox extension on his XP machine.

which one was it, can you please let me know? I'm having issues with quickedit, none of the buttons, exept Cancel work, and it really pisses me off. I know its not vbs fault, its something with FF, but at the same time I wouldnt want to switch to IE Thanks.

thnx for letting me know bud, i do appreciate it. it seems to me that after the alst update of that plugin, i've gotten the same issue, but it was resolved as soon as i've disabled it (after i saw your post, i've looked into this possiblity)
