Guests and login

I have some forums guests where not logged in /unregistered are allowed to see all threads and post.
But when they click a forum where they are not allowed threads and posts they see the message: There are no posts in this forum

Is it possible they will be directed to the login page, so they understand that they have to register to see the content ?

Have you installed any add-ons? What are the Guest permissions set to for one of these forums?
