Disable Avatar per forum

Is is possible to disable avatars in a single forum? For example, I'd like to allow people to have adult themed avatars, but I'd like to also have a PG forum where avatars won't be in the postbit.

The only thing that I can think of is to create another style where the postbit has no avatar and apply it to that forum.

Is there a simpler way?
