  • Formatting custom fields

I have a custom field on my site for "about me" - a place where members can introduce themselves, write something about their job/hobbies/lifestyle, etc.

It's 'customfield6' on my site so I can display it on the memberinfo page using $post[field6].

Is it possible to let people use basic formatting in that field? At the very least, I want people to be able to break up paragraphs. Ideally, bold and italic and links too.

At the moment, it appears as one big chunk of text. It's ugly and hard to read.

There is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.
