  • dates of posts are messed (not sorted from new to old)

I've successfully imported all data from phpBB 2 using latest version of ImpEx.
Forums are set to display all posts with sorting from new to old.
Now, please look on this :
    http://www.220mb.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12
you will notice that posts come in mixed order, they arent properly sorted by date.
(yes, i did run all the update-rebuild-stats stuff)

could it be because of different date formats, i mean DD-MM-YYYY opposite MM-DD-YYYY or smth ?

    please advise what to do,
    thanks

Run the update thread and forum counters and see if it fixes anything.

Your link doesn't show me any threads or posts.

To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

[Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

        Next, disable all plugins.

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

        define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

If so, this may be due to your language pack. Try the English pack to see if you have the same problem.

wow, this sounds like hell.. do you think situation is so bad indeed ? i only installed one hack so far - vb ad managment system.
and why you dont see anything at http://www.220mb.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=12 ?
I just checked it as guest and everything works ok...

and how can language pack possibly affect sorting of posts by dates ?

You will have to restore the original vB code even if you start a support ticket so might as well do it now.
