    From which version of vBulletin did you upgrade, and how did you upgrade?

    Hi Steve,

    Thank you, it appears he needed the option to change vbulletin settings. Indeed very odd, because before the upgrade he had the ability to do IP bans!

    Thanks again!

    You need to set the appropriate permissions:

    Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Administrator Permissions

    You may need to make yourself a Super Admin in order to do this. Edit this section of config.php:

    // ****** SUPER ADMINISTRATORS ******
    // The users specified below will have permission to access the administrator permissions
    // page, which controls the permissions of other administrators
    $superadministrators = 'x';

    ...and replace x with your userid (not user name.)

  • Upgraded to 3.67 PL, administrator is no longer able to see vbulletin options

    Prior to upgrading to the newest vbulletin, the other administrator besides me could perform IP bans. Now, when he's logged in, he can't see the "vbulletin options" in the left nav.

    I've checked the config, and the only thing I can think of is that he needs to be added to super administrators... but I don't think his ID was set in the old config. Can you confirm that super administrators would fix the problem, or if not, what the solution to this may be?

    thanks!
