How would I pass the threadid?

I am creating a button so members can donate money to another user, after donating the money, I want them to return to the thread.. so far I have the following:

http://www.webtalkforums.com/showthread.php?t=$threadid&p=$postid

The threadid is coming back blank, the postid works fine.

Can anyone help me get the threadid to work properly? Thanks.

The page where you come from should parse the threadid along, so you can use it in the return page. Customizing vBulletin is best discussed on vBulletin.org - the resource community.
