  • show "who's online" to guests

    At one point I intentionally hid who's online from guests. Now guests only see total # threads, posts, & members.

    I would like to undo this but for the life of me can't remember what I did originally to hide it!

    Changing "Can View Who's Online" in the "Unregistered / Not Logged" usergroup does not seem to change anything.

    Any ideas?

    Hide it in what way exactly?

    Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

      Guests see "<myforum> Statistics" but no longer see "Currently Active Users".

      I'd like to undo whatever I did and show guests "Currently Active Users".

        You probably edited the FORUMHOME template then. Try reverting that template or comparing it to the original.

          There is only one mod to FORUMHOME which I don't think affects Who's Online. I removed:

          Code:
          <if condition="$show['guest']">
              <!-- guest welcome message -->
              <tr>
                  <td class="tcat" colspan="<if condition="$vboptions['showmoderatorcolumn']">6<else />5</if>"><phrase 1="$vboptions[bbtitle]">$vbphrase[welcome_to_the_x]</phrase></td>
              </tr>
              <tr>
                  <td class="alt1" colspan="<if condition="$vboptions['showmoderatorcolumn']">6<else />5</if>">
                      <phrase 1="faq.php$session[sessionurl_q]" 2="register.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[first_visit_message]</phrase>
                  </td>
              </tr>
              <!-- / guest welcome message -->
              </if>

            The default FORUMHOME template contains a whole section under:

            <!-- what's going on box -->

            ...which contains the Who's Online code.
