  • Got error 12 from storage engine Error Number : 1030

Hello I'm getting this error. Could someone please tell me if is a SQL error or one of the hacks I install or something with Vbulletin. The only hack I have is AndrewD's "Links and Download Manager" , but I have that hack in my other two sites, without a problem.

    This error:

MySQL Error : Got error 12 from storage engine

    Is a server issue:

System error: 12 = Cannot allocate memory

You need to contact your host about this. They will probably need to reboot the server to fix this.

Admin Control Panel > vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options > Error Handling Options > You can set it to store to a .log file instead of email.

Yeah thanks Floris. Problem is..I can't reach CP. I'll wait it out. See what the host will do. This happend to two forums I have on the same server so it's their fault for sure.

In that case remove the tech email from the config.php file. Unless you also can't ftp .. then it's a good tip for the next time hehe. I still remember those few weeks I got about 3500 error msgs per day .. sigh.

No need. My host ( based on your suggestions ) have resolved it. Wow they are fast. Look at their response.
"Mysql has been restarted on the server. Your forum is now resolving for me.

So I am so happy now thanks to all of you.
