How would I go about making this? I already have a forum up and running.

I am new at this so specifics would be a plus.

    Thanks

What do you mean by a "testing forum"?

A forum like this community's "A Place to test things out?"

Or a separate installation of vBulletin to test addons, new styles and things like that?

No you can put a testing forum to test things out like mods and styles on your server but you can't let it be publicly accessed though.

The license does specifically allow for a development or test installation of your forums.

All you need is a new installation of vBulletin in a directory called testvb. The only thing I would recommend is changing the cookie prefix in your config.php to something other than bb.

Once that is done, you can place .htaccess on the directory to prevent the public. If you don't know how to do this, your hosting provider can help.

                  Another question about the testvb...

                  Hello Everybody:

Can the testvb, be on another domain different from the live working forum, it will be on the same server? I know the testvb folder also has to be PW protected.
                  Thank You for Your Time!!!!!
