  • Running THREE vbulletin sites... cookie issues

    OK,

    So here is the deal.
I have three vbuletin sites running right now with one as the main domain and two sub-domains.

My members are having a hard time staying logged in. I have two new 3.6.7 releases and my original is like three upgrades old (I have been worried about bringing them up to the newest release)

Do I have to set up individual cookie names for all the sites? If so... how do I do this step by step?

    Thanks for all the help!

You can change the cookie prefix for each site in your config.php filefor each site. This may help.

Alternatively, set the cookie domain for each site under vBulletin Options -> Cookie and HTTP Header Options.

    Main site should be blank
    sub-site 1 should be subdomain1.domain.com
    sub-site 2 should be subdomain2.domain.com
