Page errors and image loading in IE with 3.6.7 (FF is ok)...

I'm wondering if anyone may be having any issues with IE and not FF after their upgrade to 3.6.7? This was not an issue prior to the upgrade.

We are having some issues where the pages load, but it's with errors per IE. We get the little yellow triangle with exclamation point that says, "Done, but with error." We are also seeing several image placeholders (red x) where images should be.

Again, this is only happening in IE... Firefox is experiencing zero problems.

I'm hoping maybe someone has zeroed in on a specific plugin that might be causing the problem or some other issue that could be the possible culprit.

Perhaps this is what's causing the lag for your ie users?

Thanks Floris... I had already found that and have made that adjustment, but it doesn't appear that was the problem.

What specific pages are you having problems on? I can load the site fine in IE 7.

vBSEO has a newer version. Might try that and try loading the page with vBSEO turned off.

Here's a link to the page where I get the "Done, but with errors on page." This page has a lot of attachments too.

So I have a chaintech av710 - and this is some of my first info - 1st pic is Souncard settings, then Soundcard Calibration , and then check that the calibration has been successful. Sample rate: 48000Hz -3dB points: 7.3Hz, 20.612kHz Input device: Envy24 Family Audio (WDM) Input: LINE_IN...

Occasionally going to "Go Advanced" will produce errors on page and/or some of the smilie images not loading... just placeholders (red x).

I'll download the vBSEO Gold and install it.

We found out what is causing the errors on the page:

            The following script in postbit_legacy:

            <if condition="$show['popups']"><script type="text/javascript"> vbrep_register("$post[postid]")</script></if>
Is this new and what would it be used for?

We test it by deleting it out of our vB36 Original style and leaving it in the custom style. When changing back and forth on the same page using IE browser... the custom style with that script gives us errors and our vB36 Original style no longer gives us errors (it did previously). The vB36 Original is setup for testing only anyway.

It appears that it's part of the reputation system, which we do not use, therefore I took it out and we don't get the errors anymore. Not sure yet on the image placeholders.

"the custom style with that script gives us errors "

                What error do you get?

Also please make sure that you have the 3.6.7 version of clientscript/vbulletin_global.js

The error was "object expected". I guess it was looking for something that wasn't there.

We are still having problems with all the images not loading in IE. It seems like it's always a button here and there that will not load... only since the upgrade. FF is perfect.
