Which bit of the templates do i need to find to change the custom profile information..

i want to be able to move this from the current place it is displayed when viewing a members profile. i would like it to have a section of it's own

Not sure I understand but to locate a template, turn on Add Template Name in HTML Comments in the vBulletin options and look at the page source.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> General Settings -> Add Template Name in HTML Comments -> Yes
