      Looks like it is only with mozilla browsers

      http://developer.mozilla.org/en/docs...refetching_FAQ

      You can see it if you using firefox (based on mozilla 1.2 or later)

      http://www.google.be/search?q=reisforum

      reisforum.info is my site, when you clink the url you will see the message

      Prefetching is not allowed due to the various privacy issues that arise.

      I have absolutely no idea how i can fix this.

        I'm still confused. I don't see how this is a vB issue. Also I clicked on the first two links with both FF2 and IE7 and did not get that message.

        Maybe this is from an FF extension you installed.

          This issue is common when you have google web accelerator, or the toolbar sometimes. If you do, try uninstalling and reinstalling it, or just uninstalling it.

          This error is usually created by the following file.

          includes/init.php

          Code:
          // Google Web Accelerator can display sensitive data ignoring any headers regarding caching
          // it's a good thing for guests but not for anyone else
          if ($vbulletin->userinfo['userid'] > 0 AND strpos($_SERVER['HTTP_X_MOZ'], 'prefetch') !== false)
          {
          	if (SAPI_NAME == 'cgi' OR SAPI_NAME == 'cgi-fcgi')
          	{
          		header('Status: 403 Forbidden');
          	}
          	else
          	{
          		header('HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden');
          	}
          	die('Prefetching is not allowed due to the various privacy issues that arise.');
          }

            I tried at work and it works fine with firefox.

            I dont'a have google toolbar or web accellerater installed. But i try to check my firewall/router. or reinstall it. ( i use IPCOP)

            anyway, this nis not a Vbulletin problem.

            Thanks for help

            edit 04/16/2007 Problem solved.
            The proxyserver that comes with IPCOP was the problem. Switching it off was the solution.

              I actually need to comment this out, too, in init.php. For http://www.musiker-board.de/vb/ we are using Squid to lower the Webserver load and my users regulary see the message

              Prefetching ist nicht erlaubt, da dadurch der Schutz der Privatsphäre nicht mehr gewährleistet werden kann.
              if I don't comment that part out..
