    The part of the dump you quote looks ok, it's not been cut off mid query.

    I have other boards running on this same server fine.

    Is my mysqldump alright? Is that what the tail is supposed to look like?

    Sounds like a server issue. You may want to contact your host and ask them to check this for you.

    If it makes any difference, I am importing a 3.5.2 backup into a 3.6.* install.

    Ok, so Im trying to set up a test forum and have set up a new database on a separate server (separate IP on my dedicated server).

    I dumped the sql database, uploaded it to the new server and imported it using:

    mysql -u ##### -p ### < #####.sql

    For some reason I am getting a Database Error; I dont know what the error is it doesnt say anything more on the error page.

    Here is the tail end of my backup; Im not sure what it's supposed to look like so I dont know if it is complete/corrupt/etc.

    UNLOCK TABLES;

    /*!40101 SET [email protected]_SQL_MODE */;
    /*!40014 SET [email protected]_FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS */;
    /*!40014 SET [email protected]_UNIQUE_CHECKS */;
    /*!40101 SET [email protected]_CHARACTER_SET_CLIENT */;
    /*!40101 SET [email protected]_CHARACTER_SET_RESULTS */;
    /*!40101 SET [email protected]_COLLATION_CONNECTION */;
    /*!40111 SET [email protected]_SQL_NOTES */;

    Thanks
