  • long time forum loading ...?

    When trying to load my forums, it begins a mysql query that goes on for a very long time:

    | 533416 | **** | localhost | **** | Query | 107
    | Copying to tmp table | SELECT gallery, threadid, firstpostid, thread.title,
    attachmentid, attachment.dateline FROM attachme |

    And does not appear to finish, I had seen multiple queries like the one above as well, presumably each time the script is visited.

    any idea how to solve this problem??

    Not sure what is happening but you might want to reupload the original vB files and disable your plugins to see if that makes a difference.

        Edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

        define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

        This will disable all hooks and allow you to log in properly with no hooks running.

            You can manually delete plugins in the Admin CP Plugin Manager.

                    Edit this section of config.php:

                    // ****** SUPER ADMINISTRATORS ******
                    // The users specified below will have permission to access the administrator permissions
                    // page, which controls the permissions of other administrators
                    $superadministrators = 'x';

                    ...and replace x with your userid (not user name.)
