    Hello,

    In config.php i see these instruictions to enable memcache

    // ****** DATASTORE CACHE CONFIGURATION *****
    // Here you can configure different methods for caching datastore items.
    // vB_Datastore_Filecache - for using a cache file
    // $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_Filecache';
    // vB_Datastore_Memcached - for using a Memcache server
    // It is also necessary to specify the hostname or IP address and the port the server is listening on
    // $config['Datastore']['class'] = 'vB_Datastore_Memcached';
    // $config['Misc']['memcacheserver'] = '127.0.0.1';
    // $config['Misc']['memcacheport'] = '11211';

    Can anyone please tell me ho wdo i enable eAccelerator support instead of memcache ?

    Older versions of vBulletin allowed APC and eAccelerator to be used, but these are not recommended anymore.

      I thought APC was OK to use.

            As stated, we don't recommend their use anymore. The recommended solution is memcache.

              Is this still not recommended?

              Problem with memcache that memory is not shared between apache childs.

              Sorry, found xcache datastore hack on vbulletin.org, this looks good.
