DB Error

Hello, lately I am getting this error at least once a day

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.5:

My site is relatively small, and my host showed me a "quick fix" just by going to my control panel and updating the database. There has to be a way to keep this from happening again, what would you recommend I do for a permanent fix? I'm thinking it may be time to just change hosts!

Ask your host to increase the value for : max_questions

I asked my host to increase it, and this is what they wrote back. Does this make sense? If so, how would I do this?

The reason you are receiving the error is due to the 'max_questions' setting which is set to 50,000 per user per hour. This setting is there to ensure that the mysql database cannot be accessed too much by one user and overload the system. The connections will reset every hour and is kept by user. My suggestion to alleviate this issue is to break up your queries between multiple users which would distribute the 50,000 connection queries to multiple users.

Unfortunately you have one of the bad hosts. You will continue to have problems as long as you remain with them.

Just out of curiosity.
I just ran into this problem myself and Cant Acsses the Admin panel, get db error same on Index page.

Is this somthing that will corect itself or is it somthing i need to do ?

And yes i understand i need to lock out for a new host,.
