Is it possible to change the style id’s

Styleid's are only used for interal purpuses, just like USERID's. Theres no realistic need to reset them.

No theres not, and theres no good reason to change styleid's either.

Thanks for your opinion that my need is not a good reason to change the style id's That's not exactly a helpful or productive comment to add to your reply.

I guess it would have been enough to just say its not possible or not advised because of 'X'

My problem is that I want to download a full style and then upload it to my test forums to work on it for some planned changes. Within that style are conditionals that work on other theme style id’s (there are quite a few in different templates so it would be major pain to alter them all for the test site and then change them all back when I then copy the theme back) so I need to be able to change or force all the style id’s on my test site to match the ones on my live site.

Is that possible at all?
