  • Logo, top banner

    I want to replace the vBulletin logo at the top of my 3.6.4 with my site's own banner.

    What's the best way to do this: a screengrab I took is longer than the 640 pixels width of vBulletin?

    TIA!

    upload the banner image to your server and replace the code in Style Manager > Templates > header to link to your new banner

    Or you can host the image using Imageshak and replace the <logo> </logo> code in the header template with the code given at imageshak

      If you look in yout stylevars you will see a link to the logo you want to use. Just change the path to the image you want to use

        On the default Style how do I change the destination link?

        At present it takes you to the forum, I'd like it to point at my main site

        I know that is simple but being a VBulletin newbie I dont know how to do it.

        Thanks

          In your header template find
          Code:
          <a href="$vboptions[forumhome].php$session[sessionurl_q]">
          and replace with
          Code:
          <a href="$vboptions[homeurl]$session[sessionurl_q]">
          To access your header template go to

          AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Edit Templates > header > Customize

              To change this, replace
              Code:
              alt="$vboptions[bbtitle]"
              with
              Code:
              alt="$vboptions[hometitle]"
