  • Any way to reset reputation?

    A lot of my members have a high reputation. I'd like to reset it occasionally, but don't see an option for that in the ACP? I've turned it off and on, and that doesnt' seem to make a difference. Any ideas would be appreciated.

    Personally, I wouldn't be too happy if I login one day to see all my reputation gone poof

    But you can reset it with 2 SQL queries.

    First enable yourself for query execution via config.php. It's at about 80% down the code; you'll see something about can execute queries; add your user id (the number, not username) there, save and upload.

    Then go Admin CP > Maintenance > Execute SQL Query

    In the text area type this:
    TRUNCATE TABLE `[tableprefix]reputation`;
    UPDATE `[tableprefix]user` SET reputation = 10;
    Replace [tableprefix] with your table prefix if you're using it. IE, my table prefix is vbb_ so mine would be vbb_reptutation, and vbb_user respectivelly.

    That will set their reputation all back to the original 10.

    Then, go Admin CP > Maintenance > Update Counters > Rebuild User Reputations.... just in case if there's something I'm missing (I don't think that's required though).
    Best Regards,
