  • Automatic Banning Question

I have set Auto banning to 10 points and just had the first member reach that level. Shouldn't his primary member group have switched to "Banned Users"? He is still in "Registered Users" according to the ACP.

Auto banning gives a separate option in the infraction page to ban the user instantly.

To ban a user after x points, you need to create a user infraction group to move the user to after that many points.

AdminCP > User Infractions > Add User infraction Group

You can also you infraction groups to simply remove things like PM's or some forums as a step between normal user and banned. These use your normal usergroups and permissions to apply to users with x or more infraction points.
