  • [multilingual] how do i get one forum english and german?

    This is the goal:

    forum structure:

    -german
    ---section 1
    -----forum1
    -----forum2
    -----forum3
    ---section 2
    -----forum1
    -----forum2
    -----forum3

    -english
    ---section 1
    -----forum1
    -----forum2
    -----forum3
    ---section 2
    -----forum1
    -----forum2
    -----forum3

one forum which is used by german and english speaking ppl.
many german speaking ppl will also check out the english section. and the team which is behind that website will use both forums for discussions and support.
so we could run 2 independant installations, but we do not want to end up with double registering and other admin/moderation extrawork.

now how do i get the whole gui german for the german users and english for the english users?
since it seems that vbulletin does not support that "100% multilingual" installations out of the box, i thought about the following:

installing the english version of vbulletin and the german version.
    so:
    http://forum.mywebpage.de
    http://forum.mywebpage.com

both are hosted on the same server
    both use the same database.

    would that work?
or is there a better solution for this?

    thanks for your help!
