Forum access from site

Hi
I'd like to know if the's a way to allow access to forum ONLY to user from a page of the site : I mean that all user accessing DIRECTLY to the forum should be redirect to the home page of the forum and only here they can access the forum .
This is pnly 'cause we're restyilnng the site and would like users visit home too

There's not really any way to do this, possibly you can check the referrer URL with Apache, but I wouldn't know the exact line to use.
