    You click on the 'new posts' link in the menu (same as here) and all new posts show. However, even if you read a post that was listed there, next time you hit new posts it shows you that message again. SHouldn't it remove it from the list if you've read it, as it's no longer new.

    When hovering over the new posts link, what does it display as the link?

    It sounds like it is working as today's posts and not new posts.

        Any ideas? This really isn't working properly at all. Members are complaining! First day on the new board, that's not a good start for this software

            You are probably using the cookie based mark read system. Go into the vbulletin options and change this to mark read system: database managed, expires automatically after X days.

                    i'm havin a bit of trouble with this as well .. its not showing them all

                    Database (no automatic forum marking) is set to on

                    what's the difference between them all ?

                    Inactivity/Cookie Based
