Referal Problems

A User is complaining that when they send someone to our forum and they try use that user as a referal then they get a "this person is not a member" error.

They have a "|<" in their username which might have something to do with it. They are typing the name in correctly and it works for all other users.

If you start a support ticket you could include more detailed and private information to your forum, so we can login and try to reproduce this.

Is he referring them using a referral link , or do they manually type in his address?
