when the jelsoft release the new version (6.5) of vB (any news about that ?) i wanna know what is the best way to update my board ...

i've installed some mods so my question is: maybe is better that i unistall all of my modifications for the upgrade or the upgrade can runs without troubles with the mods on?

repeat, isnt a "do or die" question, just curious

What I always do:

As the modules are perhaps not compatible with the new version, I turn off the hook system, and then do a normal upgrade. After making a backup of the database.
