  • Can't change any User's "Usergroup" or Add User from Admin CP...

Hello, I've been using vB as an Admin for many years, but this is my first install on my own.

vB 3.6.4 install went smooth as silk, and I created Categories and Forums no problem.

I also added some "test" Members as Registered Users, logged in and out as Admin and "test" no problem, until today.

Now, I cannot add a User or change a user's Primary or Additional Usergroups from the Admin CP.

I can register new Users via the forum and create new Forums and Categories no problem.

I really need to add some Admin's, but this is the error I get, which seems to be from the server side:

    Forbidden

You do not have permission to access this document.

    Web Server at xxxxxxxxxxxx.com
    Any ideas?

I have not changed anything from the server side and checked read/write permissions for the "forums" folder that the vB resides in and all seems good.

It seems like MySQL may be the culprit?
    Any ideas appreciated!

    TIA!

    P.S. running:

    MySQL 4.1.21

    phpMyAdmin 2.6.4-pl3
