    This seems to work:

    Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Navigation / Breadcrumb Templates -> navbar

    Replace the red code:

    Code:
    <!-- nav buttons bar -->
    <div align="center">
    	<table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%" align="center" style="border-top-width:0px">
    	<tr align="center">
    		<if condition="$show['member']">
    			<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="usercp.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[user_cp]</a></td>
    		</if>
    		<if condition="$show['registerbutton']">
    			<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="register.php$session[sessionurl_q]" rel="nofollow">$vbphrase[register]</a></td>
    		</if>
    		<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="faq.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="5">$vbphrase[faq]</a></td>
    		<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="memberlist.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[members_list]</a></td>
    		<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[calendar]</a></td>
    ...with the blue code:

    Code:
    <!-- nav buttons bar -->
    <div align="center">
    	<table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%" align="center" style="border-top-width:0px">
    	<tr align="center">
    		<if condition="$show['member']">
    			<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="usercp.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[user_cp]</a></td>
    		</if>
    		<if condition="$show['registerbutton']">

    			<form action="register.php?do=register" method="post" name="register">
    			<input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]" />
    			<input type="hidden" name="do" value="register" />
    			<input type="hidden" name="who" value="adult" />
    			<input type="hidden" name="agree" value="1" />

    			<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="#" rel="nofollow" onclick="document.register.submit();">$vbphrase[register]</a></td>

    			</form>

    		</if>
    		<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="faq.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="5">$vbphrase[faq]</a></td>
    		<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="memberlist.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[members_list]</a></td>
    		<td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="calendar.php$session[sessionurl_q]">$vbphrase[calendar]</a></td>

        That is not a default vB registration page so this template mod will not work. This only works for the default registration page.

              That is possible by editing this template:

              Admin CP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> « » -> Registration Templates -> register_rules

              The navbar mod basically does the same thing.

                  It's a standard checkbox. You can make it checked by adding the red code:

                  Code:
                  <div><label for="cb_rules_agree"><input type="checkbox" name="agree" id="cb_rules_agree" value="1" checked="checked" /><strong><phrase 1="$vboptions[bbtitle]">$vbphrase[read_agree_abide_by_rules]</phrase></strong></label></div>
                  I don't know how to make the form submit itself automatically.

                      That requires modifying the PHP code. You would have to ask this on www.vbulletin.org.

                          Interesting. I thought it only accepted POST requests for the checkbox. That is much easier to just use a link like that.

                            I also tried with GET and it didn't work so I found this thread.

                            Somehow after upgrading my form changed to this, so I assume this is correct:

                            Code:
                                    <if condition="$show['registerbutton']">
                                        <form action="register.php?do=register" method="post" name="register">
                                        <input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]" />
                                <input type="hidden" name="securitytoken" value="$bbuserinfo[securitytoken]" />
                                        <input type="hidden" name="do" value="register" />
                                        <input type="hidden" name="who" value="adult" />
                                        <input type="hidden" name="agree" value="1" />
                                        <td class="vbmenu_control"><a href="#" rel="nofollow" onclick="document.register.submit();">$vbphrase[register]</a></td>
                                        </form>
                                    </if>
