yes, uninstall it first, along with any warning modifications if you have them installed (they mess with the infractions system if you do it the wrong way round), then backup files and database, upload new files, run upgrade.php, all done.

I don't want to use cmps anymore. So first I need to uninstal cmps, then make a backup?

Sounds like an easy upgrade for you. Download the latest vb version, backup your current files and database, upload the new files, and run install/upgrade.php.

3.5.0 to 3.6.4, best way to upgrade?

My board runs on version 3.5.0. I want to upgrade to 3.6.4.

I have no hacks or mods installed.

    Versions:

    PHP :4.4.4
    MySQL :4.1.15

What is the best way to upgrade to 3.6.4?
