I know that I can add a moderator to a forum and mark yes for "Can Manage Threads" option which will do this, but it also has the ability to merge/split threads, which I think could be dangerous. Not that I think it would happen, but let's assume a mod falls of his rocker and decideds to merge an entire forum. There's no unmerge. Why couldn't we split this up into several options as oppose to making it a package deal? Just seems like a short cut in the programming of vb that wasn't necessary.

There is no option to split out just that one permission. It falls under the general permission of Can Manage Threads. -

Is there a way for the moderator permissions to allow the movement of of thread without the ability to copy it or copy a post onto another?
