  • How do I change the default forum display setting

    Hi!

On my forum http://www.papegaaienforum.nl/ara-papegaaien/ the default forum display settings are set to display messages for 10 days in the past.

How do I change this to show all messages by default?

    Best Regards,
    Jan Jaap

Ok, I found out how to do it (via the forum configuration panel).

But could anyone from vBulletin support please tell me what table is used to store this displayage setting? As it doesn't seem to be stored in the forum table. As I have 500+ forums I need to be able to do it from within MySQL.

Also I would like to suggest a new feature: the ability to mange forums via an XML file wich will enable to save and reuse forum configuration among multiple forums easily and also enables to make changes to 100's of forums in the same time more easy! Then there also will be a lot of other more advanced possiblities for vBulletin mod developers.

    Best Regards,
    Jan Jaap

Admin cpanel --> forums & moderators --> forum manager

choose the forum you want to change and click on edit

choose Default View Age and set it as you want

you may probably run a query to change all the forums at once, perhaps someone else can help you on that.
