  • How do I make the WYSIWIG interface the standard interface?

    Hi, I just setup vBulletin, and have it customized fairly well.

    But I just noticed that my users only have the basic message posting interface, rather than the enhanced WYSIWYG interface.

    I see that they can change to the WYSIWIG by using their control panel.

    But is there a way to make the WYSIWIG the one they get as a default? I see it works that way here. I'm just not sure how to do it.

    Thanks

    Hmm, I see how to edit an individual user to give them the enhanced interface:
    http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/main/users_add

    But it doesn't say how to make it the default.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Thanks

      I had the same issue, all of my imported users were set to use the basic one. I ran this SQL string to sort it out.

      Code:
      UPDATE `vb3_user` SET `showvbcode` = '2';
      You may need to change the 'vb3_' part to corespond with your tables.

      0 - Basic
      1 - Normal
      2 - Enhanced
