Possible to get rid of this box?

where's the code to remove, or so that i could put something inside of it. any suggestions? i was thinking a clock perhaps?

Admin Control Panel > Styles & Templates >Style Manager > dropdown: edit templates > open the FORUMHOME template

Find this code and delete it:

<td class="thead">&nbsp;</td>

Find this code:

<td class="thead" width="100%" align="$stylevar[left]">

and replace it with this code:

<td class="thead" width="100%" align="$stylevar[left]" colspan="2">

And save the template.
