There is no way to specify markup on custom user titles like that. I recommend you post on www.vbulletin.org about custom code to markup custom titles by group.

You can use HTML markup in this field. For example:

    Code:
    <span style="color: [COLOR=red]#123456[/COLOR];">TITLE</span>
Change the color code to whatever you want.
Is it possible to check the user's Usergroup and have a different colour per usergroup for the user's title?

    if ($usergrouptype ==) kinda thing....

The group markups will not apply if the user has a custom title defined in their profile.

yes i had tried updating the counters a few times but with no change (with plugins either uninstalled or installed), thanks

i can set my own user title to a different colour via my user cp but this isn't a solution to do a whole group (which means i at least have the code working correctly)...it just seems i can change either the usertitle or the rank, both of which will affect the title either way but can't seem to seperate the title on its own.
    e.g
username color1: or username color1: or username color1
usertitle color1: or usertitle color1: or usertitle color2
userrank color1: or userrank color2: or userrank color2

when i want it to be
    username color1
    usertitle color2
    userrank color1

i think it might be a setting somewhere - i haven't had much time this week to really get into it again but hopefully over the weekend

    Try rebuilding the titles:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters

i cannot get this code to work to change the color of the user title...is there another setting somewhere that may be affecting the ability of this?

i am positive i have the code correct

it won't work on normal member groups or admin group

    thank you

using ver 3.6.2 and have 2 plugins...one is for post count permissions and one is for seperating the tables...i don't think either should be affecting

tried removing plug ins and still cannot make usertitle a different color to username....though i can change color of userrank through user rank manager....i really don't know what to do.
