  • Default vbulletin style - fixed width?

    Hi,

    Is there a fixed width for the default vbulletin style? I want it to be 800 px instead of 100% width in order to match my main site's theme.

    Is there a special download someone can link me to where this is already done?

    You can just set the width to 760 (as 800 will be too large for people at 800x600) in the Main CSS Settings.

      Ah, gotcha. Now i'm trying to center it, as it's aligned left by default. I tried using text-align: center; but that didn't work.

      How do I center it?

        No, by default vBulletin aligns to the center.

          It's aligned left. Link. Perhaps I did something when trying to manually fix the width. I did a revert and then applied those css attributes so I'm not quite sure how to fix it. Any idea?

            You edited the spacer_open template.

            <div class="page" style="width:100%; text-align:left">

              I reverted it.

              So here is my current spacer_open:

              <!-- open content container -->
              <if condition="$show['old_explorer']">
              <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="$stylevar[outertablewidth]" align="center"><tr><td class="page" style="padding:0px $stylevar[spacersize]px 0px $stylevar[spacersize]px">
              <else />
              <div align="center">
              <div class="page" style="width:$stylevar[outerdivwidth]; text-align:$stylevar[left]">
              <div style="padding:0px $stylevar[spacersize]px 0px $stylevar[spacersize]px">
              </if>
              Still aligned left.

                widgetinstance 262 (Related Topics) skipped due to lack of content & hide_module_if_empty option.
                Working...
