    Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade newly registered people to a different usergroup depending on the number of posts they have, so if someone registered when they posted for the first time they would go into a new usergroup?

Yes you can do this with promotions:

    1. Create a new usergroup with the appropriate permissions:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Add New Usergroup

    2. Create promotion to promote users from "Registered Users" to this new group after x number of posts.

        Run the Promotions scheduled task.

If you want to move all members of the new usergroup back, then you can use AdminCP -> Users -> Prune / Move Users.
