Is it possible to Downgrade from 3.6.2 to 3.5.5?

    Hi..

Recently I successfully upgraded from vb 3.5.4 to 3.6.2, however on testing I realized few important old hacks are not working, and they are not yet released for 3.6.2, without that I can't run my board. Also the forum is very much slow.

Therefore, I am planning to go back to 3.5.4 or 3.5.5. I have taken a full backup before upgrade (db backup is 3 days older). Will restoring the full backup solve the problem? I think the 3.6.2 installation must have altered the database very much.

Can someone guide me a better way to revert back to my favourite version vb3.5.4?

    Best wishes,

    Chikkoo

There is no way to downgrade. You would have to restore backups of your 3.5.4 files and database from prior to this upgrade.
