Send Emails from Admin CP for Testing Purposes?

Does anyone know if its possible to send yourself an email from the admin cp to test email layouts?

I am editing my email body text on all the different phrases and Id like to have the emails sent to me so I can see what they look like in an actual email without having to register a test account and go through all the actions.

Is this possible and how do I go about doing it?

There is the mass email feature in your:

Admin CP -> Users -> Send Email to Users

Just specify your username in the search criteria.

You misunderstood what im wanting to do. I am wanting to test my email phrases subject and body emails in the phrase manager to see what the content of the emails look like in an actual email.

Im not looking to send out a mass email to my members.

When I am in the phrase manager and change or alter the default text within these emails id like some way to send out the email to my email address so that only I can see what my changes look like.

Exactly which email phrase did you edit? That will allow me to know which preformatted email you are wanting to test.

Actually there a quite a few of them that I have edited. If I am able to send out a test email to myself I would figure the method would be the same for each one regardless of which one I choose right?

But to give you one to start with, I have edited the "moderation_ validated" in the EMAIL BODY TEXT in the Phrase Type menu.

For the moderation_validated email you need to register an account and then approve your registration. The email of the new account will be sent the validation email.
