Trouble on Step 2 - Please Help

Error description: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (46) /forums/includes/class_core.php on line 271
The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.

I'm installing on Yahoo...could anybody please lend any help or advice?

Did you ensure your database details in config.php are correct?

With Yahoo hosting my understanding is that the database server name should be 'mysql', not 'localhost'. Try that.
