    How to hide deleted posts...

I noticed that my users can see deleted posts caption... good, not the contents. But I don't like that...

What do I set so they simply see nothing for deleted posts?

ACP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> edit usergroup -> Can See Deletion Notices -> No.

This is the first thing I have checked.
I have a TestUser and it belongs to only 1 group, and that group's "Can See Deletion Notices" set to No.
But under that account, I still can see the deleted messages caption and deletion reason.

      Any more ideas?

I don't see how that is possible with the original vB code.

First, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file.

        Next, disable all plugins.

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

        define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

Change CKEditor Colors to Match Style (for 4.1.4 and above)

I tried everything, but the highlited step - so far no luck...
I am going to upgrade to 3.6.2 tomorrow or next day, than I will try all other steps again.

Users noticed that seems like the problem exists again. I did all above and it didn't help...
              What else could it be?

I still don't see how this is possible with the original vB code. If you have followed my instructions then please out a support ticket at:

Please include a complete description of the problem and be sure to include the login info to your Admin CP, phpMyAdmin and FTP in the 'Sensitive Data' field.
