    Paid Subscriptions -> Usergroup confusion

    When people buy a subscription I simply want to add them to a secondary usergroup.

    This usergroup is configured to override markup of primary usergroup and thats it. All other options should be controlled by the primary usergroup.

    The markup from the secondary paid subscription usergroup however is -not- applied...

    How come?

    How do I make it work?

    If yyou want this to be a secondary group, then they will have to manually change their display group.

      Well I don't have much choice as their primary usergroup dictate which forum they can access. My users could be subscribers but still only have access to a few forums or they could be in a usergroup with access to every forum.

      How would I go about checking if an account has this usergroup as a secondary usergroup at postbit level so I could manually do something about their markup, cause I guess this is the only way to go about it?

          To make what you want work with standard vBulletin, you could turn things around:

          Use primary usergroup for the markup, and secondary groups for access permissions. Now set the Subscription to change the primary usergroup.
