Modify COPA to 18

I need to make an effort to stop users under 18 from registering. I know this is really impossible but an effort must be made. We have this copa system that will deny users under 13 and set a cookie to block them from trying again but why can't we have either a variable age or an option for 13 or 18?

Kirby did a hack on VB.org that worked pretty well for 3.5 but he has not updated it and seems to have ignored the thread.

So my question is how do I modify the age from 13 to 18 to deny registration?

Can you bump this to requested features? I think it absurd that there is not a variable registration age particularly now that you support ccbill for a payment processor.

I myself has set the age to 15.

Every country has its own law, which makes the coppa pretty much worthless to all but those living under that specific region, guessing U.S.

So to be able to manually change age to your own liking, I believe that is something many would have use of.

I found an easier solution at vb.org: look for 13 in register.php and change it to what you want :-)
