change collapse images

Trying to change the images that collapse the categories/forums. What templates do I look for? Want to change the extension from .gif to .png.

BTW, I found one template, forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost. But there must be more because the un-collapse image doesn't show.

images/buttons/collapse_tcat.gif change the files their name the image the same and change the file name

um, I'm not sure you understood my post. I am trying to change the file names w/extensions to .png.

Im having a similar problem, it doesnt seem like you can change the file names as far as I can see, the file names dont seem to appear under the templates?

From doing some research on this it's not quite as easy as that. There are many files that need to be edited and I do not know which ones specifically to edit.

You can find all templates that have any occurences of the collapse images just by using the "search within templates" feature within AdminCP>StyleManager. Search for each file name of the collapse images and your results will be the templates that you need to change the collapse image extensions.
