i think i turned the ip system off and cant really find it anymore. because when i search for ips used by a user all i get is the registration ip.

also is it possible to show users ips when they sent out private messages?
      so what's new?

The log option is in your:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Message Posting and Editing Options -> Log IP Addresses

There is no such option for PMs.

thanks alot for all the fast replies!

new question, if a user logs in today and doesn't post there is no way to find out what ip he logged in with?
          so what's new?

There is still the IP address field in their profile. Edit the user's profile in your Admin CP to view that IP.
